As we all
know, satire accompanies the political world since its inception more than 2000
years ago.
Parties invest millions of dollars in order to promote their
presidential candidate and belittle the opponent.
According
to The New York Times ( http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/campaign-finance ), the two candidates together have
raised a total of nearly two billion dollars.
Obama has
raised $934 m while his opponent, Mitt Romney raised $881.8 m. A large
percentage of the funds were invested by the two candidates in electoral spot and satire.
This video is a very successful example of political satire, regardless of the political
stance of the director.

In your article you have mentioned the amount of the funds raised by Obama and Romney for the election race.
RispondiEliminaIt's really interesting in my opinion underline also the composition of the funds raised. We can see by the prospect you published that Romney has been funded mainly by Texans oil company or financial istitution while Obama has been funded by philantropic organizations and enterprise that link their name to social issues.

Good post and comment too, valid points about funding!!
RispondiEliminaBe careful with plurals Cristina: We can see FROM the prospect you published that ...by Texan oil companies or financial institutions while Obama ... and enterprises linked to social issues.
